So I can see how she sort of fell for it.
But then they said, okay, you're going to get the job.
We're going to send you a couple of checks and then deposit them.
And then we're going to send you a couple of vendors and you can pick the one you like and then buy these things, these laptops and printers.
So she gets the checks, she deposits them, they clear.
And then she starts to go to these vendors who are fake fraudsters and she's paying them through the money that she thinks has been deposited into her account.
And then things start to get weird and they're like, oh, DHL is costing $500 more.
Can you front the cash?
We'll send you another check.
She goes through it because she's super excited to work for the Humane Society.
And then two weeks later, bang, her bank account shuts down.
