We know that because of barriers we've put upon ourselves within the EU, we have our own internal tariffs that are adding significant costs to business, to industries, to individuals.

So let's focus on what we can actually achieve, what we can actually do and where there is that consensus.

There's always going to be challenges.

And this is where I suppose our experience comes in.

So we only host this every 13 and a half years, but it's actually the eighth time that Ireland has hosted the presidency.

We have a lot of really experienced diplomats.

We have a lot of people who have been working not just in Brussels, but at home.

And to be honest, for me, what's important is that I've been spending the last few months engaging with the people and the industries and the individuals involved.

that are going to be impacted by the decisions and the agreements that we're trying to reach.

So they've been helping us, giving us advice.

That's how you find the compromise and that's how you find a solution at the end of the day.

So, look, that figure isn't finalised.

And I'd say we're going to be completely transparent.

There's nobody trying to hide anything here.

I mean, it's a it's a big event.

There's no point in shying away from that.

As I said, it's every 13 and a half years.
