Uh it was kind of slipped out.

Um it was Miata, the new um climate secretary, did it.

did a um interview with the Times where she said, I'm a pragmatic person on on these things.

So it's kind of to show their pragmatism on this issue.

But it's disappointing.

I think it's the worst of both worlds.

I think there would be an argument to say, Okay, fine, we can allow this gas field jack door, which looks like they are gonna do but on the other hand they could say

Okay, we're gonna use all the revenue to

move us towards the green transition and we're gonna go faster towards the green transition.

I think if they want to talk about um

energy security, they should be a bit faster on nuclear power.

And that's something that even the Greens are talking about.

So we're talking about

Andy Burnham's dilemma, Zach Polansky's having a bit of a argument going on in his party about um nuclear power.

So the Greens have always been against it.

But now because of this energy argument, they're debating whether or not they should change their policy and that'd be pro nuclear power.

So this energy security argument is hitting every political party.

So she's very close with Ed Miliband and is on his side of the party and definitely personally on his side of the argument with these things.

But she's also very ambitious.

And she's a pragmatist in terms of her own career probably as well as in terms of the climate.
