One sort of central idea I've kept returning to, as you alluded to, a lot of people are now asking me my opinion on this.
I'm careful to point out that I'm still a comedian and my agenda is funny and parody.

He lost his job because of how he interviewed them.

even himself wrapped his head around, or at least he hasn't.
All of his post-Tommy Robinson coverage, I suppose, and all of his statements on it have been around freedom of speech and we should be able to have these interviews with tough people.
We should be able to sit down with people we don't necessarily agree with.
That is crazy that I've been fired just for having a conversation with someone who, you know, Tommy Robinson is at the centre of UK politics.
He is someone who is consequential.

in my opinion, represents dangerous and scary forces that are not unique to the UK.
We're seeing very similar sorts of, I suppose, trends in Australia and obviously the US are miles ahead of us on that one.
But I think it's interesting that he has tried to frame this as a freedom of speech issue when really it was, again, I come back to it, I don't think if he had had a serious, factual, well-researched, engaged conversation with Tommy Robinson where he asked some...
tough questions and pushed back and put some scenarios to him.
