You have to understand that when Tony Abbott and Scott Morrison and the Liberals were in federal government and Labor was in state, they were neglected.
The two parties don't work together.
So
Victoria had to put up its own walls and become tribal and they went through and did some amazing infrastructure development and all the rest.
So you have people here who probably don't want to vote Labor but have this legacy of mistrust and resentment and potentially I'll call it political trauma from when they're under a Liberal government.
So, there is the perfect opportunity for another party, another element to come in, but they just don't want to go from Labor to Liberal.
They need to actually have a proper, different standing point, different identity, different approach, somewhere in between.
And that's, you know, I think Victoria, going back to the One Nation point, Victoria is going to be one of the hardest states for them because they need to actually demonstrate a true independence and not simply a bolt-on or extension of the coalition brand because...
like i used to do for a decade good lord mate and look i i don't speak for one nation i am down in victoria engaged with supporting the executive team down there um warren pickering the president he is a good man he is a veteran he is smart he cares and he should be in politics
for all the right reasons we spoke of beforehand, because he genuinely cares.
And my advice is to them to stand on your own two feet.
Be the difference.
Be the difference in policy.
Be the difference in action.
Be the difference in values and character.
Be the everyday Australians and be the party that the people deserve.
do not care about the coalition or Labor, have been in a position at the end of the November election where they are coming to you to want to form coalition because the people have chosen you.
Be a difference for the people.
None of this, you know, there'll be discussions on preferences, sure.
Remember, every single person should be able to allocate their own preferences.
