The mask always slips.

This budget, so they were elected a year ago.

This budget's come one year.

And one year ago, you know, Albo and Jim Chalmers are talking about, we're not going to touch capital gains.

We're not going to touch negative gearing, you know.

Now we're saying, hey, we are going to break that literal election promise so people voted for them because they're not going to do that.

Plus, now one year into the job, oh, we're finally going to look at what our immigration policy should be and what skills we need.

Are we just saying things to get elected?

Where is the strategic planning?

Could you imagine me, mate, again, this is my fundamental hate.

I just spent four years down the road at Adfor and RMC learning the fundamentals of planning and leadership before I was allowed to lead a platoon of 30 people in the army.

These people sit just down the road at our most prestigious house, meant to be leading and planning strategically for the Australian people.

And one year later, all of a sudden they're doing arguably what should have been the planning done back here.

So they're not competent in their strategic planning.

They're saying things to win elections and they're being so reactive in the way they're planning because we're not being proactive and actually getting us past the next election cycle, let alone the past the first year of tenure in government.

It's just so frustrating to see this incompetence.

And arguably, mate, it's the next news cycle.

It used to be election cycles.

Now it's the next news cycle.

I mean, since we spoke, have a look at the reactive stuff that's kicked out from, I think, Drew and his mate exposing the NDIS stuff.
