When I literally went door to door and there were those who asked me for all of the workings with how I was providing them with that.
And I provided them with thousands of signatures and comments and everything from surveys and others to just simply...
You know, feed me.
Is it publicly popular?
What can I benefit from it?
Et cetera, et cetera.
If you actually had competent people in there who do like I was saying in the car, I never accept a single source of reporting.
There has to be multiple verified reporting.
Have their staff do the groundwork.
And again, don't look at it through the lens of how is this going to benefit me, but is this the right thing to do?
It's easier to sit back,
Be fed, be propped up, feel in charge, have your status, your position, your security within the party, within your seat, the money coming in, as opposed to leadership 101.
You need to make often unpopular decisions, but be willing to justify them and show your work.
It's an interesting time.
Again, the optimist in me thinks it's an exciting time because like we said beforehand, more people are getting activated and more people are paying attention, more people are becoming more informed.
And I'm actually seeing a lot of parties now putting in greater effort to actual policies and having distinguishable policies and actually demonstrating what their unique brand identity is.
But at the end of the day,
the Australian voters and the Australian public need to start paying more attention to actions.
Again, we've seen in this public, Albo and Jimmy Chalmers saying all the right things at election time, but this first action has completely showed that they have a complete lack of integrity and are trying to cover it with political spin or are just strategically incompetent.
