But it has been absolutely fascinating to watch Kevin Reddington in action in court.
You know, this trial being televised every single day has added to this public fascination with this case.
He has been um
you know, I I will actually go as far as to say it has been a legal masterclass to watch how he has cross examined, you know, the body language and how he will ask a question, the the the statements he will make.
You know, and and sometimes when you're reading an article about it, whether it be in the New York Times, the Washington Post, CNN,
it's difficult to really translate, you know, the theatre of court and and and the performance um that we're seeing in Reddington every single day.
Oh, absolutely Claire.
And I think whatever your views, whatever your theories about this case, that is something that I think is agreed really across the spectrum here in many respects.
Like when you
heard about this case, you know, in twenty twenty three, right up until this trial beginning, I don't think people could fully appreciate and understand
Um the the the amount of times that Lindsay tried to get help like and and in the four months
Up to what happened in January of 2023, she was prescribed 13 different psychiatric medications.
She called suicide hotlines.
She tried to have herself checked into various facilities.
And when you see um healthcare official after healthcare official testify in this trial, you realize how many times that you know she didn't meet meet medical professionals in person.
It was over Zoom.
Uh she was just prescribed another medication to deal with another issue and that may have been sparked from the first medication.
Um and I think it is worth noting here that, you know, separate to this uh criminal trial right now, Lindsay has filed a civil lawsuit against a number of healthcare um providers.
for medical mal malpractice.
And so it will be very interesting to see going forward how that um how how that case unfolds for sure.
