And you look at our communities.

There are so many brothers that I talk to here in Michigan that want to be entrepreneurs, that want to start their own businesses.

You look around many of our neighborhoods.

Many of our neighborhoods are choked out.

We have tons of buildings that are boarded up.

I mean, you can go two blocks this way here in Detroit, a row of board.

There are people who want to redo these buildings, create housing, become landlords, put in small businesses.

You know, a food desert is right here.

Right.

People who want to reopen markets, but they can't get access to capital.

particularly capital at a cost that would allow you to make it a profitable venture.

So that's what folks are pissed off about.

I think rates and inflation, they're both regressive tax.

It's people who have less money, who make less on an hourly basis, get punched in the face with all of that.

And that's, you know, we talk about one of the pillars of my Senate candidacy is that putting people first.

You see, when you talk about having super PACs, independent expenditure, special interests, lobbyists, those are big donors.

And those types of realities don't hit them in the same way that folks from, you know,

historically marginalized, underrepresented communities get hit.

And yes, that's what we've got to be talking about, solutions for those folks.
