I agree with you. I think they're just trying to create as many arguments as they can to force the defense, trying to force the issue. I do think Kohlberger's relatives, if they wanted to, could sue the police department, the FBI, who did this. I think the FBI agents who did this could be reprimanded by the Justice Department.

Those things could happen, but I don't think it will affect Kohlberger's case, but again, I was totally surprised that the judge left open the possibility of a Franks hearing. And if this happens, if there is a Franks hearing, then it's potentially a whole new ballgame.
