Okay, it gets kind of complex, but you've got four generations now, the buying powers, you've got the baby boomers, you've got the X, you've got the millennials, which is Y, and then you've got the Zs.
Anyways, the point being is they all think differently.
That comes to the psychographics.
Are you designing based on one psychographic, or are you designing for two psychographics, or are you designing for three?
Should you be designing one product for one psychographic and create that same product and redesign it for a second group of psychographics?
And so I say that nowadays, branding goes beyond the demographics because we live in a global market now.
It has to do with more generations and their psychographics, for example.
So a lot of times what we'll do is we'll create sub-brands if we find like, well, first it's taking the data.
This is where now marketing and sales comes into place.
We'll look at the data from the sales and marketing to find out, well, who's your quote unquote, who's your number one clientele from the standpoint of
the demographic and psychographics, right?
And then let's get from marketing, let's get it from sales and look at the data and then start to look at, well, is it even worth consider, you know, Y or Z generation because there's maybe 2%, right?
And they're like, oh, we should design for all, right?
And then they're like, well, maybe we should scale it to a specific one
A specific demographic, psychographic, excuse me, psychographic, because that's your biggest buying buyers are right there.
Let's say they're 80%.
So then it gives us an idea.
Well, this is designed for that market specifically.
There's also looking at to another set of variables that we look at.
