Because I am the worst athlete of all time.
It's so hard for me to do anything athletic when I'm involved in any kind of competition.
You, though, as a former football player at the highest level, have that innate ability.
So I kind of feel that I get up for those moments the same as you probably did.
Can you sense a correlation there?
We live for it.
I think any broadcaster...
who's blessed to do what I've been doing in terms of play-by-play, just looking at it through that narrow prism, would tell you the same thing.
We live for the big moments.
And some of us are just afforded them more frequently than others, you know, depending on things that are out of our control.
