I think we've all grown a little bit through that.
When you talked about the relationship you had and you were trying a lot of things and
Danny as coach and you as captain, again, people described to me that there wasn't the money to have as many assistant coaches as the other club and you were playing and captain and pretty much the midfield coach.
Well, that's what I was explaining to me, but I was explaining to me that's probably the start of your coaching journey in many ways.
It would have been annoying to coach the last four or five years.
I think it might have been Crocs, Anthony Rock at one stage.
Later in my career, I was not a know-it-all, but I was really into it.
So centre bounces was my go.
So I think they let me do that.
And then I can't remember, when Danny left and then Donald, I don't know if Donald, Donald went into the admin role.
Yeah, and Crocs went into coaching and suddenly they just didn't replace him.
I don't think we could really make finals.
So I think I helped out there for the last five or six weeks.
But yeah, I was well and truly hooked on the lessons learned through Danny, just on the strategy part.
And then you're 28, mate, and you go, well, fuck, I've got bills to pay.
