You know, tactically we probably did too much on occasion.

Every week was a new adventure.

But we won a lot of games.

We made a prelim under her and probably when we shouldn't have.

And then it got a bit sticky for her towards the end, you know, and it happens to everyone.

But, yeah, our relationship has been tight through that period in particular as the captain coach time.

And then post-football she moved to Perth and that's when we pre-connected when everything went down.

It was a great scene in that show.

Yeah, well, I wasn't part of the... Anthony Stevens, when she was at her worst, I wasn't there.

I wasn't there for her.

I wasn't part of that.

And you've got to give a lot of credit.

I think Anthony Stevens was the main one, along with Arch maybe, just trying to help her through her worst part of her life.

So, yeah, but to be part of...

you know, her next phase and opening up to people and being really vulnerable probably shows you where we're all at.

We've all evolved.

We couldn't do that in the 90s.

No.

So to go through all that, I think, with her teammates and past players, I think that was important for her, but it was important for us as well.

Like I've got so much more gratitude or, I don't know, understanding.
