But the White House
did not entirely restore access here because the pool, which is this org it's an it's an attempt to organize the as you say, the cov covering the president is incredibly uh resource heavy, energetic, and there are five television networks that are part of the pool.
They are CNN, they're they are uh Fox News,
ABC, NBC, and CBS.
And over the years, they have built the infrastructure that allows them to follow the president, fill him at all, fill him at uh in public events, fill him as he's coming into the White House, as he's leaving the White House.
It's incredibly resource heavy.
It's really Which means it's expensive.
It's really, really expensive.
It takes manpower, it takes person power, it takes computer servers, it takes cameras.
You know, this is a whole Well,
Uh it's incredibly it's incredibly expensive.
And these five networks have done that as an act, partly obviously for their own advantage, that they get this footage, but really of public service.

The pool
The White House decided they would select who was in the pool and they weren't going to allow CNN back in the pool.
So while this whole she event was going on, the pool remained in solidarity with CNN, something that nobody had expected, or I shouldn't say nobody, something that nobody in the White House had expected would happen.
They thought they could divide and rule.
But the pool the pool has remained in solidarity until CNN are back in the pool.
they'd said they would not cover these events in the way that they normally would.
So we had much more limited filming of it.
