Yeah, there was a really strong Atletico Madrid vibe to the whole thing.

I think there were nine Atletico players across both squads and then three or four players who should really play for Atletico Madrid anyway, even if they don't.

Some of them have Rodrigo de Paul, Lautaro Martinez, Atletico Madrid player, Cristian Romero, Atletico Madrid player.

That's where they belong.

And it did feel a bit like a dogfight, to be honest.

Argentina clearly wanted to drag it into a scrap.

And I think what Spain did in that first half that was genuinely impressive, but in quite a low-key way, was they didn't let themselves get riled.

They kind of stood apart.

They just kept on doing what they always keep doing.

And I think the gamble for Spain was, look, we know that Argentina will try and provoke us.

I think they would have got frustrated and a bit worried because Spain's fatal flaw this whole tournament has been they don't have a cutting edge, they don't have... There's no David Villa, there's no Fernando Torres, there's no full-on grade-A top-class striker to finish off those chances.
