I think anyone of an England persuasion in that first half early on was a bit like, blimey, there's an obvious, it's obvious what's going on here.

However, I don't think it had a big impact on the game.

And this is sort of cometh the hour, cometh the man, hopefully was the idea.
And yes, I mean, again, I suppose for people that are not as familiar with how England have gone about their business for years, I think as much as anything, the feeling has been that England tend to not produce their best performances in the biggest moments.
And the idea was to bring Tuchel in, who was someone who had this kind of
aura for knockout football and for producing great performances just when it mattered.
And again, and the hope was that he would go in at halftime and make some changes, give him some instructions that were going to bring them out a very different prospect in the second half.
Yeah, it was a goal that, again, at times, to use sort of historical context, it felt quite un-England-like in some way in these sorts of scenarios.
And yeah, it came at a time when, as you say, Argentina had perhaps started to sort of step up, be in the ascendancy for a little bit of time.
And so, yes, very welcome at that moment for those of us in English persuasion.
