Mark, I've been talking about it all morning.

I got like five texts this morning.

I'm not sure if he's like trolling her or if he is serious about it, but he sounded earnest.

I thought it was really cool to see him fly fishing with Jake Tapper, but that was not something that anybody thought they would hear from Gavin Newsom yesterday.

I mean, look, I think it's fair for him to go on the record and saying things that some of us have already been talking about.

I mean, we've been all waiting for the Clash of the Titans of California, and then you throw Ro Khanna into the mix, and it's going to be quite the show.

But I think for me, it portrays a little bit more for Kamala Harris than it does for Gavin Newsom.

And what it's saying is she's really serious about running, and if she does run, she's going to try to clear the field as much as she can with whom she can.

I mean, look, you know, you and I both know there have been several several candidates in the past who have run several times.

And I would think even, you know, look at John McCain, look at.

Joe Biden, they got better when they came back for that second or third triad.

And so she has the advantage of infrastructure.

She's done it before.

She's been around, you know, it's no small feat to go around to three or four or five states a day and have to perform that for, you know, two years.

And so she's one person who's done that before.

And so she has that advantage.

And then I don't know this to be true, Mark, but I'm assuming that when Gavin was down in South Carolina, North Carolina, Alabama last week, he was probably getting some words from some people saying that they're with Kamala Harris.

She spent the bulk of her time over the last year and a half in the South.

She's been to South Carolina so many, many times over the last year.
