And and the the best part of it is not only our relationship with each other and how we work together We root for each other there isn't competition and friction We actually want to see the you know that our colleagues succeed But we also have a great relationship with the president and I've seen this time and again where we whether it's one-on-one or
And I've experienced this with the president, if it's a meeting or a phone call, but if there's a bunch of us in the meeting with him sitting around a resolute desk in the Oval Office,
and any of us have anything on our mind that may be a different direction, a proposed idea, direction that might be any different than the way that the president might be thinking or heading, the president welcomes us to be able to share our thoughtful idea on what would be a better path forward.
If I disagree with something,
I feel comfortable.
I've done it many times.
I feel very comfortable being able to share my recommendation.
I know that he's listening.
The only thing that I'm self-reflecting on is just make sure it's a good idea.
If it's a silly idea or a terrible idea, then I should keep it to myself.
But if I think it's a good idea, I'll share it.
I mean, I don't know if the New York Times has been able to say about anything that's good.
