yes uh obviously it's it's made my life really being the open champion from 1991 and looking forward to getting back to that art deco clubhouse that uh sits so proudly at behind the 18th green when when you think about courses uh you genuinely think about uh
how they played or how you played them, uh, the reputation that the course has in the world of golf and Royal Birkdale, obviously one of the greatest, but you, you always remember that clubhouse, don't you?
You don't, even when you think about all of the other open venues, you don't automatically think, well, I maybe live them with the clubhouse right on the 18th green.
You know, there's probably some that come to mind, but in general, uh, you think of Royal Birkdale and you think of that beautiful white clubhouse.
Yeah, and I think a lot of people don't really remember the fact that, you know, Robert Giles had 10 opens, but the first one was actually 1954 when Tomo won.
So he was the first to win there.
He won again, obviously, in 65 in fantastic fashion.
So two wins for Tomo.
