Yeah, I was impressed with the, like I thought Prendergast had a very controlled performance from an attacking perspective against Ulster, played the game in the right area of the pitch, was very patient on when he decided to pull the ball out of the shapes off nine or off 10 and get the ball into the wide channels.

I think Ulster felt like they were kind of chasing their tail for large parts of the game.

And it was one after 55 minutes and then full credit to Ulster that kind of came back into it.

I noticed a real step change from like Scarlett's onwards where Leinster were getting the ball out of those shapes and into the wider channels.

The issue against Benetton was they weren't winning the initial physical contest.

They weren't getting quick rook ball.

They weren't tying the Benetton players into the breakdown to then create the space going wide.

So it ended up being kind of passive play.

side-to-side, lateral, and then because even at the end of the game, you should really be putting that ball aerial as opposed to overplaying around the middle of the pitch and then you get one breakdown wrong and suddenly you've lost the game.

But I think you bring in the likes of McCarthy, Ryan, who are going to get you back over the game line.

When you've got those kind of

dense carries to make where you look no matter who it is you're running into big bodies but you need the likes of McCarthy to fight through two two long bodies to get you to the game line create quick rope ball and then Leinster can start to play and

So, yeah, look, I've confidence that it can click for them.

It's slowly been coming together, but they haven't put it together for 80 minutes just yet.

But I'm hopeful that both the defence and the attack comes together this weekend.

One of the people who are optimistic about this Leinster team, which is ironic, I sometimes feel like the Leinster spokesperson.

That's the sort I'm willing to go.
