It has been interesting listening to some of the snippets coming out of the team.
There was in an interview there with Fenton Gunn and he was talking about how Blayendale is encouraging them to play, you know, more running rugby, getting nines, picking and running with the ball.
You're hearing snippets from Tommy O'Brien saying, you know, the the the framework is great, and and that's what has given Leinster and Ireland so much success over the last ten years.
But the framework is ultimately there for players to be able to express themselves.
And you could sense from Tommy, and I'd only be speaking on his behalf, but you could sense from them that maybe they've gone too far into being over.
Overly structured and too far away from being able to express themselves.
And what I mean by that is the French way of of keeping the ball alive, offloading, taking on your opposite number one on one.
And that's not necessarily something that you're you're pre-planning during the week and saying, Oh, we'll get the ball to Gary Ringrose in this situation, and Gary, you just do your thing and we'll run off you.
It's reacting to those opportunities when they're presented to you.
So I I still expect Lencer to to significantly adapt and develop their game going into this season, regardless of um Felipe potentially coming in.

But it it it's not short of its challenges with with Leo staying on an additional year.
Like there is definitely going to be concerns there of you know, the motivation of the group.
And what I hope is that Leo actually moving on is going to be m a big motivational factor for for the team.
You know, he's devoted it's pretty much his whole adult life to to the club, borrowing a couple of years with Leicester and um that's where it the owner
of that is really on the players to lead it, you know, the the standards in training around it week to week, who are the key leaders, who's stepping up um and ensuring that it doesn't go stale in in what is a really important season for for Leinster and and in turn Ireland leading into the World Cup.
N no, it is.
And I think it's also important to note that
Leinster's style of play did change significantly f if you were to compare the first half of the season to the second half of the season.
