I thought United looked more ready for the game, more prepared for the game.

They came with a bit of a plan, scored straight away.

And then, you know, the way we were throwing things at it and things like that, and obviously we get the goal, but we just looked a bit of a mess.

And I came away after that one thinking, like, I'm just really worried about...

that's the fourth in a row, but I thought they'd sort more of an international break and it didn't look like for me that as a squad or as a managerial team or anything like really kind of knew then could see this sort of problems that we've seen in the stands.

That's what's concerned me throughout the whole season, really.

And they've never quite managed to get it sorted.

The managers tried different things.

I don't agree when people say, oh, he keeps trying to do the same thing.

You know, we completely changed how the team were going to play after those two really, really poor homes.

not necessarily perfect results but you could see how he'd done that and then he obviously tries to sort of come out of that but that hasn't worked either so I think he has tried I think sometimes he's maybe gone away from what he'd want to do but I think for me throughout all the season we've just looked a little bit soft and a little bit too easy to play against that poor weak PSV and

And Forest, seeing the team give up on the pitch was really tough for me to take.

I thought we stopped playing last 10 in both games and could see another goal in that time.

And that's hard to watch as a fan, really.

How much has what happened in the summer with the teammates affected the spirit?

Rory Smith actually coming out of the game and he'd been working I think and I was coming out and I said they look like a team who's had their soul ripped out of them and then I sort of said it and then thought about my words and I thought well maybe they are really maybe that is what's happened but

you know you don't know how much that has affected them in the summer or how much it's always a combination of things isn't it but i feel like it has been it has been a factor and it has been something that you know it's just taken some of the the spirit or the drive or the fight or whatever it might be out of the team really but
