Well, first of all, I think we need to sort of think about how VAR, the video assistant referee, is there to spot clear and obvious errors or serious missed incidents, right?

So clearly, if you're sitting there watching a match and VAR says, ref, come and have a look, the chances are that that decision will be overturned.

And this is obviously a team of people who have the benefit of multiple camera angles.

They have the benefit of replays.
