It's okay, it's not the same kind of thing now, but but there is still that sense of prejudice, that sense of fear because people don't understand it.
That sense of you know, the the folklore has told us like from the times of I don't know, before the Brothers Grim, but for example the Brothers Grimm that the witches are are terrible people, you know, that they throw babies into ovens, that they they want to eat children for breakfast.

And I think there is still and and I know, you know, with with friends of mine people who helped me research the book.

a lot of people to know that they that they are practitioners.
Because it can
Um not badfire on them, that's the wrong word, but there's nothing about fire.
But but but people can have the wrong idea about them and that there can be prejudice against them.
You know, and um it was another reason why I wanted to write the book, because I think
Although witches in films, you know, are traditionally mostly of the the black witch dinosaur the evil witches and that's a lot of fun.
Um I wanted to make a distinction between
the witch of the movie and and what witchcraft and who witches really are out in the real world and that they're two separate things and you know we should kinda separate the two and see one as as entertainment and that's cool.
But but you know, not
prejudice, not have that prejudice of feelings about who people are who really practice this this belief system.
Sure.
Yes, yes, that's true, and that's exactly the the experience that I've had.
