But I guess recently there's like a camp or like a a large group of people who are saying that LA is better.
And the breakdown is generally this.
In New York, they take the cake easily with fine dining.
Uh just density wise, there are more Michelin star restaurants in New York City than any other city in the world.
And I think
Uh, except for maybe Paris, but definitely in America.
W there's more Michelin Star and and three Michelin star and all that stuff, restaurants in New York than any other city in America.
So they went on fine dining for sure.
And then the other thing that New York does really well on is a classic Americana stuff.
So think pizza, bagel.
Deli culture, sandwiches, like that's the kind of thing that New York cleans up on.
Where LA tends to shine is two things.
One
And this is just based on the reading that I've done.
Though both cities have a lot of immigration, in LA, a lot of the immigration tends to be in like enclaves.
So for example, like there's a lot of Mexican people living around Mexican people, or there's a lot of like Korean people living around Korean people.
And what that results in is when a mom and pop shop opens up
It's like Korean people making Korean food for Korean people.
Or it's like Mexican people making Mexican food for Mexican people.
And then like let's compare that to New York.
