You're absolutely right.

I don't think the Israeli Bureau of Statistics would be very keen to tell us the numbers.

But, you know, we have friends who are statisticians and demographers, and I believe them.

I mean, there are ways, apparently, of, you know, evaluating, of course, roughly, not accurately.

So one thing we do know for sure, that among what one can consider the social, economic and cultural elite of the Israeli society, at least 100,000 people bought a one-way ticket and already settled in different countries.

But there is a larger number, of course, involved, not necessarily of people that had capital and jobs that could easily be reignited,

But there is a great attraction to places where real estate is not very expensive, like Greece, Cyprus, Thailand.

In Greece, Cyprus, and Thailand, you have now huge expatriates, communities of Israelis with their own newspapers, their own educational system, not very popular among the natives, so to speak.

because of typical Israeli kind of behavior, I suppose, but also because real estate business means, of course, that

you also invest in great projects that usually comes at the expense of the people themselves and increases the, it's kind of a gentrification of the sort, what it causes to the prices of the houses and homes and so on.

The Israeli community has grown exponentially.

And when you talk to people, there's a lot of resentment about the construction projects that they are involved in, both in Thessaloniki and in the islands.

in terms of its connection to Greek heritage, to the landscape, to ecology, and so on.

So if this is a group that already causes some alienation, because I'm generalizing, I'm sure some of them are welcome and behave well, but it just shows you that this is a phenomenon.

This is a mass emigration.

But I don't think we'll ever be able right now to know the exact number.
