Speaks to a larger systemic issue in American society and pop culture that we in so many ways like revere and are attracted to these people who are very outwardly, you know, morally nept.
But as long as they're being their most authentic selves, we are more drawn to authenticity, even if it isn't necessarily like following a moral paradigm than we are.
And we are
people who are doing all the right things but seem vague or fraudulent.
So it's interesting to think about.
