I started working there right after that anti-social media campaign happened.
Unfortunately, it was just a farce and a response to the comments they were getting on their social media profile.
About union busting.
Employees were mistreated and underpaid, so they tried to unionize and Lush responded horribly.
They pushed a very heavy anti-union platform on the staff and found any and every reason to fire employees who just happened to be involved with the union organizing.
When they were called out by customers who were made aware of it, they quickly threw together this bullshit campaign to shut down their socials and the comments they were getting.
They still haven't brought them back and still haven't recovered from it.
See, they were trying to protect themselves from the onslaught of negative comments they were receiving because of their own union busting?
I've never heard of anything so culty.
