Yeah, absolutely.
And you know, it's interesting because Lush as a corporation actually does do some really good outreach, more so than some other companies.
Like they do have a focus on sustainability.
They are very pro LGBTQ plus.
I mean they make fairy bombs soak.
If they weren't pro-gay, they'd be out of business.
And they they go out of their way to make their allyship known and to support local communities.
But at
At the same time, they've been involved in so many controversies, they don't support their own employees.
There's a lot of discourse about where they get the ingredients that they do put into their products and the labor costs there.
So basically, the cult of Lush is full of contradictions.
What do you think this says about the world as a whole?
I think.
And you know, this is culty recruitment one-on-one.
They make you feel like you need their products, you need to join their cult because it will make you a better person, it'll make you morally righteous, it'll make you cool and part of an exclusive community of people, and it'll make you feel better after a long, shitty day.
But then they use all that messaging to distract you from their own labor.
