Under this premise, within this podcast, we chat, we gab, we yap, and we decide where our faves fall along this rainbow road of cultishness.
I guess my naive assumption was that more formal conversion therapy had kind of fizzled out and it was more so just homophobic teachings that remained within the bones of pre-existing fundamentalist and evangelical religious groups.
I didn't really realize that there were still active groups today with the explicit purpose.
Or I think I knew that they were there.

Yeah, that's something really concerning and culty to me is that like in spite of and maybe even because of the fact that we live in such queer bubbles.
this has totally not even been on our radar.
And that's something that I think is really very culty and just emphasizes the importance to me of making sure that you're keeping up with your news in all of the cultish corners of the world, even the ones that you don't particularly like, because they could be a lot more relevant to you than you think.
Huge bummer.
Yeah, this is a very big problem with a very extensive and brutal history.
