When you were doing this, were you doing it because you wanted to matter or you wanted other people to know they mattered?

It's such a powerful story.
You know, most people spend most of our waking hours at work.
And there are a lot of people who you research in the workplace.
And you found that many people are desperate to feel like they matter at work.
And a lot of people are anxious to leave because...
They don't feel like they matter.
Can you imagine how those custodians felt after that celebration of them at Harvard?
Yeah, I remember in mattering, you spoke to one guy who said he didn't feel like he mattered anymore because nobody depended on nobody.
