I definitely agree that we kind of have just skimmed past the intensity of it.
It's just gotten really big in the past few years.
But it was still definitely very present.
It's always been very big.
Well, I was talking to Dad last week about it.
He was saying, oh, well, when we were younger, you just call someone's home phone up and say, oh, meet me here and see if they rock up.
And I was just looking at him being like, I could never imagine myself doing that now.
Like, we so take for granted what we have and communicating with people.
But...
I remember even once I was like working full time, the only way that I could see friends and connect with them was chatting to them on the phone or, you know, let's hang out, let's do this.
It was such a form of communication for me, which was amazing.
But on the other side of it is when I'm even hanging out with friends or at places, everyone's on their phones.
And it's such a challenging dance because it's like it creates connection and communication with people, but also people forget how to communicate with one another in real life.
