I think it's an appropriate and good thing to do.
I'm questioning how they can actually monitor it and do it because there's always a way to figure things out.
I've heard so many families of the parents saying like, I'm that or you're the child, like you've got to listen to me.
And it's so interesting because it's so invalidating for the child when you're trying to raise someone that you can communicate with one another and have really open conversations, yet that fully shuts it down.
And I think one thing that I would love to be mindful of is
when I become a parent, is really listening to my child and having so much love and fun and connection.
Like, working with little kids is just so cute.
I love it.
And they honestly are, like, the purest form of joy and love.
And when I'm, like, with them, I don't think about a single thing.
I remember this one child who I worked with
She had the biggest tears and the biggest feelings.
And that's because she didn't know where her teddy bear was.
And for me, I had so much going on at the time.
And I remember just crying with her being like, your only worry right now is about this teddy bear.
And it was just the sweetest thing.
And she honestly just needed me to be like, I hear you.
And
Like let's try and find it or let's figure out another solution or what do you need or listen to her feelings.
