You know what, it's a really good question because you don't want to be too on your nose in a way because they're not, wow, what's going on?
They're not because they're already so, in a way they're already so dissociated that they're kind of just taking it in their stride in a way.
Like other things are going on that are, they're obsessing about other stuff.
They're not obsessing about the thing that is,
really obviously strange or really obviously important.
So you have to let the reader know that they do look the same.
But also they're not completely thrown by the fact that they are the same.
