we need to give arguably now we have to make little spaces for also reckoning with what we've lost or what we've what what has happened to us that's so interesting because it does feel like that we get no space to kind of process what's happening so we can't mourn what's happening we can't let it go we can't kind of deal with the shock of it it just keeps coming in and sort of eroding us a little bit yeah
Very weird.
Very dysfunctional.
I mean, the thing for me, what you said as well about the Becket Code, the sadness and the love at the same time, that was sort of the challenge or the task I set myself.
Like, yeah, okay, capture this loss, but do it in a way that is not completely ruinous to the reader or myself.
You know, kind of find some sort of an energy in it, whether it's absurdity.
I mean, there's a lot of absurdity in there, I guess.
