And I think those songs like balance each other out so well.

And when they sing together, I love the sort of dissonance between their two approaches to singing.

Bob's like in your face yelling.

He would do these big yells sometimes in the middle, like one more Saturday night.

He's, you know, rocking out in such a different way than Garcia's mellowed out, floating behind.

And I will come to Donna Godshaw's defense.

She frickin' ruled.

Sometimes it went off the rails, and that's part of the beauty of The Grateful Dead is sometimes everybody went off the rails.

But she also brought this, like, kinetic, untamable energy to the whole thing.

And to me, it just, it really works.

I love hearing their three voices together anytime they're harmonizing.
