The calendar is so packed with men's cricket, women's cricket, four-day cricket, test cricket, vitality blast.
There's never a good time to do it.
Had it been 15, 20 years ago, I think I'd say...
could have the timing could have been better because there's finite cricket news then it was like these are sports pages there's one page for cricket and if the England men's test coach loses his job that's going to be the that's the page and there's no space for women's cricket or county cricket or other cricket it's just that but like the internet is unlimited space so to some extent yes the timing maybe could have been better but also

So I think if there was a sense that the women's test had been pushed to the sides, that's not the fault of the people who announced that news.
It's the fault of the people covering it that they deem that more important and therefore nothing else matters.
Yeah.
And I don't think that's happened because I think the coverage of this test match has been brilliant.
And I think with it happening on day three, it happened.
It still had the conclusion of the test, still had its own kind of day.
