The offense, the eleven players on offense came from eight different states.

So something Saban was able to do was to nationalize, you know, the the second Heisman Trophy winning quarterback at Alabama came from California, Bryce Young.

So Saban's ability to not just get the talent that was right around him, which you know, there certainly was plenty of talent in the area, but to get people from everywhere to make Tuscaloosa, Alabama a destination for recruits from around the country.

I think maybe m his most impressive accomplishment.

But the one thing that we

just couldn't win football games in Cleveland.

You know, but but the types that he was looking for throughout, right?

Um tall corners, big safeties, big strong linemen, right?

Um, just physical players everywhere and just that understanding that an Alabama football practice, you know, you were in for something that that you perfected it in practice, you know, sort of going back to the old John Wooden philosophy, right?

That if you get it right, get it right, get it right in practice, then the games are easy.

There there is that standard at Alabama um that that he created that

was unmatched, I think, anywhere else.

I mean they it just like what it it was just surprising that people would leave Alabama to go to Duke, the fact that someone would stay at Indiana when they could have had the chance to go to I mean you and I both know if he's offered the Alabama job

I think Indiana made it just

lucrative enough for him to stay.

Right?
