people are unlikely um could happen, right?

But people are unlikely to decide to take um like significant

hits to their taste enjoyment, um, simply out of moral conviction.

I think that's not that's not really how human beings are.

I I did want to circle back just uh to to register agreement with one thing that you said a a couple of minutes ago.

So I w with respect to the the respect point.

I do think that I agree.

Um, and I think you're totally right in the case of humans, right?

So I think like y yes, you're you're correct that um it is possible to disrespect humankind or womankind or something like that.

Or I can translate that into terms that I agree with.

And I just I think that's gonna be cast out though in terms of the relevant cognitive capacities that humans have that animals don't have.

So I I think that it's like it's possible to disrespect

women as such in a way that it's not possible to disrespect cows.

Um, but I think that's because women are rational agents and and cows aren't.

So they're s they're susceptible to different kinds of harms.

Yeah.

They're a they're a member of a of a particular kind of species and we have certain plausibly like certain duties of respect.
