Absolutely.
And I bet they're not done signing extensions either.
Well, look, Brent Strange, Parker Washington have got to be right there at the top of the list.
And that's not going to be cheap.
And the reality is that you're right and that the drafted players are your inexpensive roster players, and that's what makes it so important to hit on those picks is because you have to have โ
You know, the economies of scale, you got to have, you know, the guys that have the big money and the guarantees.
And then you got to have the guys that are the lower cost players that are on that first contract, you know, to be able to contribute to your football team.
So you got to be able to draft well.
And then you keep drafting well, right?
Then all of a sudden you can't sign everybody.
And then some guys are going to leave, and the Baltimore Ravens have been the masters at this.
And then you end up letting some guys walk just because you can't fit them in under the cap.
And then you kind of have a little, what's the right word, a little restraint in free agency and then sign guys later in free agency, let some of these guys walk.
Then you get compensatory picks, which allows you, if you draft well, you can replenish your roster that way.
And that's, you know, in a perfect world, that's what you want to be doing, to maintain that consistency.
Yes.
And to wrap up our point on Trevor Lawrence and the number continuing to grow, yes, the salary cap continues to grow year after year.
Yeah, what's the number this year?
It's crazy.
Crazy.
