So in comes a short man who was not likable, even just looking at him.
It was not James Bond.
No, he was German.

That was the dumbest cover story that I've ever heard in my entire life.
Because in those days, when you were done...
You were assigned.
Oh, you didn't get to just kind of pontificate about what you might want to do.
And that's how this guy started the conversation.
So you knew right away this guy doesn't know what's up.
He pretended to be an employee of the biggest company in town.
But I thought he was German.
I thought he was East German secret police, Stasi.
Okay, but aren't you nervous anyway?
I mean, I would think a Stasi knocking on your door might rattle anybody.
