Well, he got, well, this is the thing is, I think he became very, as he says in it, he becomes very emotionally reliant on the egg timers.

yeah that you're obviously why if you've got so many egg timers then some of these are going to be faulty some of these are going to be um not going to work um but the like his eventual tactic was obviously to yell at a golfer um which was a probably a better tactic in the end but the egg timers were they they more i think they wasted a lot of time for him as if that makes sense like they which is you know ironic um like he spent a lot of time trying to work out if they were right and then trying to work out like how long that had been which i think
it was it was so the bit where he after about five trying to do the mississippis where he thinks he's got it where he just grumpily turns it over again and starts doing mississippi again and like having said previously i'm not going to subject to the mississippis again he he just
yes that was fascinating and and you could tell that well i they they didn't have a moment it was only afterwards only after the the the moment did they say like kyle said oh i'm annoyed he's taken off his watch so clearly alex must have spotted that kyle was looking at it had a word and then they got rid of it and that that was again really a really interesting moment where it's sort of um because i mentioned on the in the last series about how alex accidentally give gave joanna the answer
um with the custard and mustard one yeah and it was the first time that happened where where alex or where a member of production has accidentally like literally just given the answer and someone did point out this moment as a as a similar bit in a way obviously they they catch it before it's too you know before it ruins the task entirely but like there was a chance anyway with the words
yeah watch so it gets near point yeah well so i so it's interesting because i i'd forgotten with kyle like i mean i've forgotten that kyle screwed up the words he's got the words twice and then also didn't get put 39 in which is again when you're like just how surely surely that's just the thing you could just oh yeah very frustrating maze i think was harsher and i've forgotten about maze as to as to why they didn't quite get it because i think they're thrown by the clock thing
