But, you know, again, at the HL level, that's hard to do that.
So that's the first thing.
The second thing is I think the biggest.

The reason why it's very important to have great assistance, whether you're at the HR or the NHL level is as a head coach, you have so many sort of political responsibilities in terms of talking to the media, managing up, you know, managing down that,
You cannot be that person who's overwhelmed by the X's and O's or who's getting into the weeds in terms of the travel schedule or in terms of the meals or the logistics.
You have to have your head clear.
to be able to make decisions which impact everybody else on the team.
So I think the biggest challenge for someone like Dan, who's moving from assistant to head coach, you know, he's, he's organized, he's qualified.
The players know him.
He knows the team.
Um, so in that sense, I think he's 100% ready, but the thing that I think he has to kind of, he'll have to wrap his head around is like, it's better to be less busy than more busy because when you're a little bit less busy, you have excess capacity to deal with unforeseen circumstances.
Whereas if you're already overwhelmed, then that's where issues can, can snowball.
Yeah, and that's part of his job, right?
Part of his job is to develop players so that they move on.
But again, if you look at the number of players that suit up for a given AHL team, you may have 50 or maybe even 60 players that play for an AHL team per season, whereas at the NHL level, it's usually 25, 30, right?
Because you're losing players, your player's getting called up, player's getting sent down.
And the ability of a head coach to quickly bring players up to speed and to quickly bring him
on board and what the program is going to be super valuable and maybe even more so than your sort of purely technical qualifications.
