So, yeah, I thought he was brilliant.

I also thought with the Sam Walker stuff and, you know, the tactic of getting the middle to travel to A to set up that kick, you pick a guy who plays that way, like, that's in his DNA.

It makes perfect sense.

Like, I was very vocal beforehand, especially given they went head-to-head, him and Clifford.

I thought, how the fuck would you have chosen him off that game?

But it was...

100% obvious and full credit to Billy that he was suited to that game plan.

And I think that's where it was a perfect storm for us where you had all these guys making uncharacteristic errors out of yardage.

But then for them to nail both those opportunities, it's one thing to create the look, to execute both like that.

People talk about picking the moment.

So I think for him, it has to be a vibe.

We weren't dominating through the middle.

We weren't finding quick play of the balls or offloads.

So when we are, I'm all for it because you're right, Jack.

He's so strong when that is on.

The way he pops up around the middle and creates space out of yardage there.

But if we're not like we were the other night...

I think he needs to hold width.

And it frustrated me so much because Queensland were doing this mad thing out of yardage.

Obviously it was wet, but it didn't stop them playing shape where they'd run like a block shape and then bring their back row back under.
