thought the kicking from both halves pairings throughout the series have been fantastic like southwell probably the standout as the scores have reflected but i think back to game one like uh brown for the maroons she was kicking awesome as well and it dead set just came down to a couple of kick chase effort areas from the blues that were a bit better that got them to hold on and last night i thought the kicking from the blues was slightly better again and it probably proved it wasn't game didn't game two they win by a field goal

Yeah, I think to be honest with the NRLW, I think the way that the NRL has gone about building that out,
it's probably the prototype or the benchmark for the rest of the world in terms of women's sport because they haven't rushed it.
And people get frustrated with that in terms of like, because the product is so good in terms of watching it and the season's still probably too short and they're like, why don't we have more teams?
They've done a really good job at building it out properly from the grassroots up.
And you can see that now because of those competitions.
So the standard's not compromised.
Not to throw a shot at them, but I think the AFL, they focused more on let's get an 18-team professional comp going probably before they were ready.
Yeah, because you'll see, you know, like that whole thing of trying to look good and do the right thing.
If you don't have 18 quality teams to start but you roll out with that, it undermines the product.
Yeah, so whereas like say you watch a game like last night, but even you go out on a Sunday, like my team, my team, my coach, like we'll be warming up often at our home ground and there'll be one of the local league tag sides, the girls sides playing beforehand.
Like the standard is clearly not only already good, but it's getting better.
And I think that is where say five, 10, 15 years time,
it's going to become more obvious to the rest of the world.
Like if you're in Australia and you know what's going on, you can tell that it's the benchmark, right?
