I was four or five when I was deciding that was the direction I wanted to go.

I had exposure to music through a lot of film scores.

And, you know, there used to be... Like, I remember we had...

in the house when i was a kid like a cd that was a compilation of tracks from things like quentin tarantino's films it'd be stuff from like pulp fiction songs from like the usual suspects you know all these yeah kind of pulpy sort of films with great music from the 60s and 70s yeah so i would have i would have grown up with a bit of that and then my nana

who I was extremely close to, she would have played a lot of Eric Clapton.

She would have played a lot of classical music when I was a kid.

So I had a bit of an appreciation for classical music as I was growing up, you know.

It was the kind of thing I would put on when other people wouldn't put that on.

Really?

In my teenage, you know, like 12, 13, 14, you know, there'd be tracks that I would hear and they would resonate with me.

So I definitely had a...

A decent exposure to music growing up as a kid.

I chose it because it's a song that, so for anybody who's seen The Beach, the great Danny Boyle film, which I love so much.

You know, when I was like 10, 11, 12 and first getting a feeling about wanderlust and wanting to get out and see things in the world and watching films, there were places that I wanted to travel to and things that I wanted to see so much.

And that song has always really spoken to that for me.

Like it's a beautiful scene in that film where that track is played, where they're on a beach and they're looking up at the stars and the constellations.
