I'll tell readers that it doesn't necessarily have to be two mouths coming together.

For example, we have kisses of the hand and kiss the ring.

butterfly kisses of eyelashes, or we used to call them Eskimo kisses.

I think that's a slur now, but the rubbing of noses.

I'm getting too far afield from what I'm really trying to study here.

You were starting kind of in the in the medieval period is where the story first kind of takes off for you.

Well, that leads me right into my next question, which is your prologue says, this book is a history of the kiss of worlds we have lost and one we have inherited.
