So what are the worlds that we've lost?

kind of teased me with that when you said that there was a period when there were the most mouth kisses because they mean so many different things.

And I'm thinking I could probably only come up with maybe three or four things that I can think of in the world that we've inherited where a mouth kiss would be appropriate.

So what are some of the things you saw in those early years where mouth kisses were more prominent?

We've inherited that tradition.

I remember doing that in church when I was a kid, except it was turn to your neighbor and greet the person next to you.

And if anybody kissed someone on the lips, I think they would have been thrown out.

Maybe the police would have been called.

So we certainly have gotten away from that tradition.

So what sources were you able to draw upon for this?

I mean, were you...

I mean, we can see kisses in paintings, and I'm sure there were some letters that maybe mentioned it.

But what you're describing, it seems like you'd be finding, were you able to find other history books that talk about the kiss in different periods of time?

Or where were you primarily finding these examples that you've just described?
