Imagine if that city or that town was suddenly invaded by thousands of federal agents that do not share the values that you hold dear.

Imagine if your daily routines were disrupted.

The local cafe that you eat at was shut down because they're scared that their own family might get torn apart.

Imagine if schools shut down and suddenly parents got to figure out what to do for daycare.

Nah, that wasn't me.

That's illegal.

Unless you're role-playing as one.

Baton.

I've seen conduct from ICE that is disgusting and is intolerable.

If it were your city, it would be unacceptable there too.

And for anyone that is taking the bait tonight, stop.

That is not helpful.

Go home.

Let me give you another example.

Just last week, a group of our city's public works employees were stopped by ICE agents.

Three of the four employees were not white.

The ICE agents asked to see the IDs of the three non-white employees and didn't even bother to ask the white employee for the identification.

Minneapolis is being treated, targeted because we stand up for our neighbors and we welcome immigrants because we believe in the law.

And as I said, frankly, because we are in a blue city in a blue state.

It sounds like she doesn't believe a single word that she is saying right now.
